Howdy! My name is Mark Hester (Or Markus Aaron Hester) I've been drawing since 1994. The first thing I drew was a gold fish since I had one when I was little. I didn't start creating my own creations until 1997. I mostly like to draw and create my own characters. I really don't like drawing fanart as much because to me it is boring.
I was born in Fresno California, on September 29th 1990. I have 2 parents, 3 siblings and 2 cats. And a whole lot of caring and nice friends who give me inspiration. On my free time I like to play video games or just hang out with my buds. Video Games give me ideas of what to think up next.
Though some people say that "You steal Ideas from games" I say I don't because I add my own characters into the mix. The only reason why I offically play video games are to enhance my ideas mainly.
All in all I love to create comics. This is my favorite hobbie and I hope I can land a carrer in Comic making. (Or be an Illustrator) I want to be something art wise. I love kids as well, When I'm older and more mature I hope that I can become a happy, loving father. That way I can share my work with my children as well.
Sometimes I get art blocks too, like sometimes I dunno what to work on...But mainly I decide to work on a new project. Its hard for me to just work on one thing because I jump on to new projects right in the middle of something else. (Sometimes I get really lazy and sets a comic aside until I get new ideas again)
The things I mainly do not like are braggers, People who mainly only talk about their art work and gloat. I don't like copy catters either. People who do this I ignore. I don't like being annoyed either. This distracts me from my own projects and such....
But all in all, I'm a caring and kind guy who loves to draw!
My Inspiration: Inspiration is my most important qulality along with creativity. I love showing people my drawings and hearing their reactions. This is important to me as it curves me to draw more and make more creations. I love making up insane story lines, goofy characters and downright hilarious siturations for the characters. I get most of my inspiration from my family and friends. My biggist artistic inspiration would have to be Akira Toriyama.
Character Design: Character design is perhaps on of my most important details. I mean if the character doesn't have a design how can you remember who or what the character is important for. I give each of my characters their own designs to fit with their persona. Like for example Mark (from Huskie Heroes) design is loosly based off of my own, The blue Jacket, the jeans and the hair. Another would have to be Alana Milbourne (from Apcolypse Academy) I based her design off of girls fashion of today as she wears a skirt, thong and tights. As you can see I get most of my designs from seeing what people wear.
Character Personality: This is perhaps one of my hardest points developing character personality isn't that easy. As sometimes I feel that my characters have the same type of personalitys. Though nowadays I have fixed this error and gave them their own personalitys. Either it be a clone of the main character or just a minor one. I still suffer from this error from time to time.
Details and Plotlines: The plotlines of my storys come to me as I draw the panels of the comic. I do not plan ahead or I don't know myself what is to occur in the next chapter of my comics. It simply just comes to me. But I like to use silly, unrealistic and random events in my storylines as I feel if
